Da-Shuang Wu is a teaching artist, animator, and illustrator whose practice was rooted in the everyday rhythms of Beijing’s Drum Tower neighborhood and now reaches toward the wider world. For nine years, she ran a small-scale community art studio that blended teaching, art-making, participatory events, and local dialogue in the heart of a rapidly changing city. Through visual storytelling—both as a personal creative practice and a teaching method—she creates artworks and learning spaces where people of different cultures, generations, and backgrounds can imagine, feel, and create together.
